The Deportation Data Project released new Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) case records that document all the times ICE booked someone in or out of one of the agency’s detention centers or hold rooms. The case records include book ins back to October 2022 and extend forward to as recent as March 10, 2026. This is essential information for the public. ICE has not released the congressionally mandated detention statistics in nearly two months.
Over the weekend, I developed a series of charts that show the nightly population at each of the facilities in the case records. Here’s an example of the facility that had the largest population detained by ICE as of early March: Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia.

I will probably write more about this over the next few days. For now, treat this page as a reference and let me know if you have any questions or comments at adam at relevant-research.com.
